Our kitchen uses "fresh food" and wherever possible sources it locally, ensuring it’s the finest possible ingredients whilst giving the best value for money.
The tastefully styled restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and evening meals and carries limited edition prints by artist in residence Valerie Ganz that offer a glimpse into the past these added to Louise’s collection of mining photographs all add to the sense of place and history, whilst retaining a contemporary dining experience. Whilst overlooking the breathtaking views of the Afan valley.

- Friday and Saturday 12 noon - 3.00pm & 6.00pm - 9.30pm (last orders)
- Sunday 12 noon - 3.00pm (last orders) Sunday Evening (Residents & pre booked non residents)

I along with four of my friends stayed for 2 nights so we could spend the weekend mountain biking in the forest. The welcome when we arrived at the lodge was a warm one and the rooms were exactly as shown and described on the website.
The food was excellent, just what we needed for a hard weekend in the forest mountain biking.
The trails in Afan forest are awesome and just a stones throw from the lodge. Both i and my friends will be visiting the lodge again in the near future and i will be recommending it to others.
