Visited by all manner of sports people there is an abundance of wild and tarmac trails and Richard and Louise Davies enjoy the company of many professionals and enthusiast joggers and triathletes who compete in the mountains and valleys.

You can chill out too

The Afan Lodge has a homely feel with a large expansive alcove area around the fire place in the Café with reading of adventure yearns to romantic novels, you can enjoy a relaxing spell there while waiting for our chef to prepare your lunch or evening meal in the restaurant where on a clear night you can see down to the South Wales coast.

I along with four of my friends stayed for 2 nights so we could spend the weekend mountain biking in the forest. The welcome when we arrived at the lodge was a warm one and the rooms were exactly as shown and described on the website.

The food was excellent, just what we needed for a hard weekend in the forest mountain biking.

The trails in Afan forest are awesome and just a stones throw from the lodge. Both i and my friends will be visiting the lodge again in the near future and i will be recommending it to others.

Neil Gray stayed for 2 nights.
